Theresa & Petrus Wedding

Theresa and Petrus are an amazingly beautiful and spiritual couple. It was my absolute pleasure to work with them in creating their dream wedding a reality. Nothing too ‘off-beat’ or ‘different’ was to be excluded from the plans! It was truly special to work with a bride and a groom who wanted to express their unique personalities and share with their guests all that is precious and special to their lives.

The wedding day was especially serene, a bait a few stressful moments whilst the trained and designated bridesmaid was getting Theresa into her custom made Arwen gown!

The wedding reception was a buzz with palpable energy and special thanks to Chris and Ollie from Function Music who kept the party going well past the midnight!

Last, but not least, the wedding was captured on video by the talented Nicholas and Johannes, see their work here and here.

Here’s how it works!

WHO CAN ENTER
Any couple married since 2005 who feel they deserve a second chance at beautiful wedding photos!

HOW TO ENTER
Send me an email at info@katforsythphotography.co.za telling me in less than 1000 words why you think you should be the second chance photography winner.
Please include 3-5 photos from your wedding day to illustrate the above! I promise I will not show these photos publicly, but they will be used to decide the winner. If for some reason you don’t have any photos, you can explain why in your entry.
Include one recent photograph of you and your spouse. This will be posted on the blog if you are a finalist.

Sneak Peak at Nadine and Troy’s Wedding at The Cradle

Here are the sneak peak photos of another Splendid Affairs wedding which took place at The Cradle . Nadine and Troy were married under the trees with their close family and friends present. Christopher Munton captured all magical moments on photo camera whilst Emily of Light House Films created a video for the couple.

More to come soon!

Rock Around The Cradle – Day 1

The Rock Around The Cradle Day 1 was today, and the weather was miserable. Luckily, the gorgeous fire at Toadbury Hall warmed everyone up. The mood at Toadbury Hall was cheerful despite the rain. The couples were invited to chat to the co-ordinators about their wedding plans, and meet a few suppliers too.

One of the treats in store for the couples was an impromptu shoot with a professional wedding photographer Annalene Rautenbach of Moments By Annalene with fun props, after Sam of Lashline Make-Up touched up ladies make-up.

Evegenia Poplett from Splendid Affairs set up a vintage inspired table.

Let’s hope the weather improves tomorrow, but even if it rains make your way to Toadbury Hall for some true English Country Style setting to meet the Toadbury Team, sample gorgeous canapes and sorbets, have a cup of coffee and yes, have a fun photo taken!
